A Conversation for Stuff

Stuff 'n' stuff

Cheerful Dragon

I seem to recall that my sister once used the word 'stuff' in her English homework and got ticked off because it was slang. She obviously didn't know all those high-brow quotes so that she could contradict the teacher.

According to the Oxford English Dictionary, stuff is woollen fabric as opposed to silk, cotton, linen, etc.

What about stuffing (culinary and cushion/soft toy)? Not interested? Get stuffed! smiley - smiley

Only joking! smiley - winkeye

Hoopy Jalfrezi

Me and my bit of stuff went our for a drop of the hard stuff. The barman was a real stuffed shirt and I wanted to knock the stuffing out of him. He called my bit of stuff ‘Hot Stuff’ and I though “Stuff Him!” I took of my jacket, rolled up my sleeves and stuff and prepared to do my stuff. By that time to I was starting to feel the effects of the hard stuff. “That’s the stuff,” my girlfriend shouted (Never shy of someone getting a good stuffing). The guy just cried “Stuff this” and ran away.
The moral - Stuff them or they will stuff you.
