Herero in the Novel "Gravity's Rainbow"

Post 1

Steve K.

Years ago I read Thomas Pynchon's novel "Gravity's Rainbow", a notoriously difficult work for readers. If its about anything, its about the German WWII war effort and its wide ranging effects. The entry caused a few neurons to fire, as the Herero are players in the book. More here:

(Scroll down to the Herero entry.)

"Gravity's Rainbow" is a novel that requires a companion work to explain the references. Maybe somebody can clarify the Herero references. Or not.
