A Conversation for Backpacking in Bangkok
Living In Bangkok

I actually used to live in Bangkok, for a short while during my stay on the Planet Earth.
It is a very good place to live, I think, unless you happen to hate pollution [There are MANY cars/traffic jams] which I don't. There are many different areas of interest, which I will let someone else figure out, some of which being the large shopping centers, many pubs [of which I never got to visit, being the young innocent chap-et I am and all] But the best thing, I think, about Bangkok, must be the utter ludicrous cheapness of it all - oh, and there are lots of smiley people.
However I never met anyone in Thailand who had heard of The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy - which upset me, as you can immagine, as there was no internet for me in those days. So if oyu happen to be reading this & live in Bangkok - where were you????
Never mind. DON'T PANIC.
