The Bombay Restraunt is located on Magdalen Street in Norwich, Norfolk, UK
It is a good curry house but not outstanding. It's redeeming feature is the maze of alleys and back streets nearby for when you've buggered off leaving little or no money.
Magdalen Street is Norwich's 'Curry Mile'. Short by about 3/4 of a mile !

Alas, shortly after I wrote that article the Bombay closed!
Perhaps I should have paid after all!

A better address in Norwich is the Spice Lounge in Wensum Street.
The food is very good, the menu is more than adequate (and if not they will cook your favourite given a bit of notice), the reception civilised. Prices, for one who is used to French restaurant prices, are surprisingly low.
It is also easy to get to, a taxi will drop you right outside.

is the passage to India still any good in Norwich... I think taht's in a simular area, fairly central.... and yes... we'd always jokingly call it the 'back passage to India'... very childish of us
