i think it should be covered in lime green fun fur, and have fake plastic eyes on the front.
Being a nasally-centric machine, it would be bizarre to fit it to any other orifice!!

I can photic sneeze at will, evenin the dark. I just have to close my eyes, imagine I'm in a dark cinema with just a REALLY bright shape (you can choose your own) being projected onthe screen and hey presto! Une sneeze.
You might alos find another sneezing law to be; if both hands are full with a weighty item (stop giggling at the back) you will invariably want to sneeze. I call it Lambachoo!
But I might have dreamt it.

You are the man! Mentally Induced Photic Sneezing (MIPS). Stunning. And we're getting some great acronyms out of all this.
MIPS,PIST,SNOT. We have the basis of an industry.

Merkin, I like your thinking young man! We should network on this, or perhaps have a power lunch or something?
Pass the Guacamole!

I have a condition called Intra-Official Labourial Somnolence. It's quite common, I understand.

Especially with MIPS training being brought in at an early age in schools, and possibly even genetically engineering people with supercharged MIPS capabilities, there would be no stopping us, we could rule the world. Today, Slough, tomorrow the UNIVERSE *evil laughter*....

Slug Posted Jul 28, 1999
And what a decidedly sticky universe it would be.
NB: Since starting this discussion last week I have developed the worst headcold ever, and as a result it is no longer funny; instead I am merely "ironically clogged up".
Excuse me. I have to go and clean my monitor again.

Merkin Posted Jul 28, 1999
Hmm, delightful. Well hopefully your cold clears up before you down drown in your own mucosity!!
Experiment with possible uses to cheer yourself up.

I believe that's closely related to Boring Supervisor Disorder...

you are sneezing on a sunny day because you have hayfever
Escape Velocity
Merkin Posted Sep 1, 2000
You've not fully read all this have you. Photic sneezing means you can sneeze by staring at a light bulb. Indeed one of my esteemed collleagues can sneeze by thinking about bright light (I myself require the real thing. And no, I have never suffered from Hayfever. Indeed I could live in a field of mixed seeding grasses quite happily, but confront me with a 100W halogen bulb and I'm anybody's...
P.S. It can be sunny in winter too

My name is Vestboy and I am a Photic Sneezer. Should I sit down in the circle now?
*kneels down to do up laces and puts hand in pocket*

Looks around for somewhere to surreptitiously wipe his now green hand, whilst trying to conceal the fact he's just fallen for the oldest one in the book.

Deuce Posted Jun 25, 2004
I was always told I was "weird" whenever I would relate to people that the sun or a light could make me sneeze.
I thought I was the only one! I have not mentioned it to anyone for years because of past reactions.
I had no idea there was a name for it.
I am not imagining this after all! What a relief!

Sneeze with pride!
Maybe I could make a badge and sell it
