A Conversation for Designated Drivers

One horrible effect of being a DD is that there comes a time during the evening when you have to ask yourself 'where are my friends gone, and who replaced them with these drunken idiots'. It always astonishes me how particularly feeble humour provokes huge amounts of laughter, and how my 'friends' seem mystified as to why I didn't get the joke.
Exactly the opposite happens of course, when *I* drink: I become better looking, more intelligent and devastatingly witty!

These days, I'm always the designated driver, and I would agree with Maolmuire. The flipside to that is, when I drink (and I can't remember the last time I had more than one glass - and then I don't drive), this is how I look to the world. Not a nice thought!
