Forty years ago saw the biggest railway
heist in UK history. It was later to be made into many
films including Buster starring Phil Collins.
So this is the tale of Buster Edwards, Bruce Reynolds,
Gordon Goody, Charlie Wilson, Jimmy Hussey, John
Wheater, Brian Field and Ronnie Biggs and the rest of
the gang's defining moment.

In Buckinghamshire, the Glasgow to
London mail train stopped.
Gang covered green signal, used flashlight batteries
to activate red signal.
Fireman, driver and engineer all bundled up.
Escaped with 2.6 million pounds in used notes.
Twenty mail workers sorted the mail elsewhere on the
