Excellent beach on the Coromandel in New Zealand. Natural thermal springs provide hot water pools on the beach - take your bucket and spade and end up with your own personal hot pool.

And its called Yyteri Beach. I wrote about it here - http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/alabaster/A799527 - and I'd be honoured if it were ever included in the Worlds Greatest Beaches article..
Great article though,

But get there as early as possible in regards to the tide times because loads of people know about the beach. Otherwise you will have to stand there and look enviously at all those people in their hot pools. If someone moves grab their pool as quickly as possible (the spade you can hire from the shop has more than one use!).
Plus, see if you can build a suitable defence for your pool from the incoming tide.
