A Conversation for How to Make Cheese Focaccia Bread
I made it last night!

after being inspired by the entry yesterday. I did have a slight problem in getting the yeast to rise, as a damp towel seemed to make the top of the bowl too cold. I took off the towel and put some cling film on instead. As I don't have an airing cupboard, and the radiators aren't on yet, I stood the bowl on top of the computer monitor and shone the desk lamp onto the top. This set-up provided enough warmth to activate the yeasty beasties.
The foccacia I made turned out very well indeed, and I will be making 4 more on Saturday for the whole family. I'm going to try out 4 different toppings for each bread.

Thanks so much for your comments. Yeah, I think the towel only works if you already have a really warm spot for the bowl. Honestly, I think the cling film works better- someone else gave me that tip.
