Just one bit of bad news - well maybe two! There are only results from Friday's Super League this week. That's because I am away on holiday this week - the second bit of bad news!

So let's get to it...

Danny Orr Signs Deal

Danny Orr has signed a 4 year deal after speculation of where he will be going at the start of the new season.

Ryan Hudson is Castleford's Leader

Ryan Hudson, on his first time out for Castleford, will put on the captains' arm band against his former club Wakefield.

Leeds Hunt for New Player

Leeds have shown a interest in Liam Botham¹ who is currently playing for the Newcastle Falcons.

This RULE is applicable to both games.

The Forward Pass

• In both games you can only pass the ball behind you. It is seen as
  a forward pass even if you bounce the ball in your hands before catching it.
• Some teams have what's called a flat pass which, if care isn't taken, could be called as a forward pass.
• A flat pass is if another player from the same team is running up and on your shoulder before you pass. This is when the referee has to ask himself if momentum was constant before the pass.
