For those people in the UK who may be interested in purchasing a Modo & Modo Moleskine Notebook I recently noticed them for sale in Waterstones bookshop in Bolton, but I imagine they will be available from other waterstones shops across the country.

I found them on a display next to the counter. They had a range of sizes, the biggest being a little larger than A5, the smallest was just a little smaller than A6. There was also a choice of lined or plain paper.

I bought the smallest one, with plain paper, and it cost me about £1.99.

I am a webdesigner and songwriter and have come to really love my moleskine notebooks. I use a Moleskine address book for my passwords and log in information. The address books tabbed pages make excellent placeholders for my information, which is always just one tab away.
As a songwriter I use a ruled or squared notebook with which I can quickly jot down notes when I awake from dreaming, these phrases often are more insightful and original than anything I can create while fully conscious - even great scientists like Einstein's greatest insights have come while 'dreaming' or more importantly not 'thinking'.
I also have an iPod - which I take everywhere, it syncs my data, carries my music and also carries notes. It is also very expensive (beware of muggers), and like other computers can crash, and even lose data. Paper has proven to be a very good archive material and is organic- you can see your mistakes, corrections and revisions evolve into your finished work. Which if you ever have to prove your copyright is invaluable. Tip - number each page and create an index in the front.
