TRiG (Ireland) A dog, so bade in office

Some commenters here suggest that there should be a concerted effort by web designers to kill JAWS, just as there was to kill IE 6.

2legs - Hey, babe, take a walk on the wild side...

How odd: Using an old version of JAWS (err Ithink I'm 8 or 9 yeh, 9 Ithink), those two examples of tables they give both* read as data tables, which goes entirely against what they say in the article smiley - huhsmiley - ermsmiley - headhurts
Also they don't seem to mention that the W3C guidelines Iseem to recall are pretty clear that tables should not*be used to determine format; that is Ithink the case in both the W3C WCAG 2.0 and the older 1.0 guidelines... smiley - ermsmiley - weird Tables did* use to be more of a problem as a lot of sites were using tables to determine page structure/layout, but now as most are heading over to CSS the use of tables to determine page layout is pretty-rare... smiley - erm
