I thought it was a typo, but I find it is an acceptable alternative transliteration from Cyrillic Russian, just one I wasn't familiar with.
Moussorgsky, Modest Petrovich
1839-81, Russian composer. His name is also transliterated as Mussorgsky and Musorgsky

I think that specific scene (Night on bald mountain) is the absolutely best one in the film - it's very impressive - just reading the description gives me goose bumps!
