As a Researcher prepared to try most things once, I had one of these for lunch today... It was vile. I couldn't finish it. The combination of flavours was... bleuch! I'm sure it probably might appeal to the jaded appetite of a desperate student... about the same time as they might be considering a doner kebab...

OK... I decided to experiment again. If you restrain yourself to a dessert spoon of Soy Sauce and a teaspoon scoop of butter - and then fill the water up as suggested... that just about does the trick. The soy and butter do add flavour... but no so much as to paralyze your tastebuds.
