Haha, its JOURNAL TIME! Hello boys and girls, welcome to Journal Time
with your buddy DZ.
Now, DZ's family went on a week-long vacation without her, leaving her to run the house
and do pretty much whatever the heck she wants, so she's going to tell you all about her week
whether you like it or not!
MONDAY: I was forced to wake up at the ungodly hour of 9 a.m. (I
didn't even know 9 a.m. existed) because I had to say good-bye to the family. I shooed them
out the door and whipped out the drugs and porn! YEA! No, just joking. What I actually did
was what I do everyday, just with less people around to be in my way. That evening, I went
swimming! At and indoor pool! I'm just rollin' in the technology now! I took great joy
in jumping from the pool to the hot tub (3rd degree burns), and back to the pool to let the
bitter cold greet me. You can't think coherently when you jump in a pool after being in a hot
tub. Your vocabulary is limited to "h-h-holy c-c-crap!" and "brrrrr!". It was an invigorating
and enlightening experience. Bright? Maybe not. But invigorating none-the-less. I ate
frozen food.
TUESDAY: I told myself I'd get up in enough time to do the dishes
before I had to go to work at one. So what did I do? I got up at 12:30 and took a shower.
So much for being productive. Then I worked. Work work work till six. Homeward bound!
Without a car, mind you; I took it to the shop Monday and missing it already. I invited
Molly, Andrew, and Levi over for movies, food, and your general no-parents-around juvenile
delinquency. I ate frozen food.
WEDNESDAY: HaHa! Wednesday! Um...I...er...I slept. TILL 2 P.M.! I
sat! I ate1! I got on the computer! I sat! Phew,
'scuse me while I collapse from all the excitement and drama of Wednesday! I invited the
same people over and did the exact same thing as Tuesday, but with a different movie.
Oodles of excitement there. I missed my CAR! I ate a steak (I'm guessing it was frozen at
one time).
THURSDAY: SUMMER READING PROGRAM! I work at the library
and therefore must partake in the S.R.P. In summary: screaming children, dorky sing-alongs
and too many books. That was an all-day project, occupying my precious time from 9 a.m. to
6 p.m. during most of which I was nearly paralysed with boredom. People came over. I don't
remember who exactly. So many people in fact it became difficult to differentiate between
them and the furniture. We watched four hours of 'I love the 80's' on TV even
though I hate the 80's. Bad hair. I stayed up late. I ate frozen food. The end.
FRIDAY: Slept till 2, baby! There's no greater feeling than waking up
and realizing you've wasted half your day and missed McDonald's breakfast. I
bummed around on the computer till five, doing God knows what, talking to God knows who,
and I still haven't cleaned out my old conversations. I felt
rather anti-social, so I didn't do anything social. (Hence the whole anti-soc...yeah, you get it.)
I GOT MY CAR BACK!!! Which was inarguably the highlight of my lonely weekend. I ate
frozen food. I went to bed.
SATURDAY: ACT Test! Academic something-that-begins-with-'c' Test.
8 a.m. baby! I dragged my body out of bed while it kicked and screamed and begged me to
leave it alone. Then I took the god-awful four-hour test.

I hate the ACT. It's the Hitler of the testing world. DIE DIE DIE! Which brings me up
to now. I can't much write anymore, can I? See, that's the thing about having to get my
articles in by Monday...you guys are at least four days behind in what you read. But hey, I don't blame you.
I love it when my parents leave me home alone. I have the freedom to
eat2 when I want, sleep as long as I want, and lose
my dog--twice. Unfortunately they're coming home today, so my solo adventures have come to
an anti-climactic conclusion. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go find my dog.
Your Little h2g2'er,
