As a bloke who grew up in a village that is basically two farms and a road, I think I can safely say the main problem farmers have is kids.
Things that kids should not do are:
Annoy the cows/ horses/ anything. There's nothing quite as worrying as an angry sheep.
Play in the hay bales. As tempting as it is to make forts out of them, they're generally laid out in a way that makes it easier for the farmer to collect them. But climbing on top of them is okay.
Touch the electric fences. (obvious, I know, but they have those low voltage ones that just shock you a bit. I once lent a stick against one, and after a while the generator blew up)
Of course, all of this is great fun. So do it, if the farmer isn't around.

Cow tipping is a really nasty thing to do!
...but yes, once.
The cow was alright the next morning, though. And it did urinate on me once after that, so I think we're even....
