Well, to live with someone completely harmoniously...they probably have to be dead, and even then you'd have to put up with the smell. My best tip is to never have lived on your own previosly - living alone makes you selfish (a bad thing? not necesarily!) and gives you VERY bad habits (why? whats WRONG with eating biscuits in bed/leaving toothpaste all over the sink/only flushing the loo once a day??)
The very best advice I can give to anyone who lives with someone else - be it family, friends or girl/boyfriend, is treat them like a total stranger (NO, I don't mean ignore them and not sit next to them on the bus!) I mean be polite. Manners, according to everyones mother, cost nothing.

Rains - Wondering where time's going and why it's in so much of a hurry! Posted Jul 24, 2003
I think the other piece of advice is make sure you respect each other's personal space...everyone needs a retreat where no-one's going to bug them.
But manners are important, too :o)
