Would like to know why the BBC News Service and other national TV companies did not report on news reports the widely witnessed UFO sightings seen all over the UK and world during Hogmanay 2010 ?
Our 2010 New Year party members (20+ in number) all thought there were chinese lanterns in the sky. However, the next day, I'm astonished to learn many people all over world witnessed these sightings at the same time (google internet messages, blogs, etc). 3-4 orange lights (orbs) moving along an identical trajectory before eventually fading one-by-one. The experience lasted around 20 mins. Its interesting and/or worrying that national TV news companies have not reported such a global event - why - surely some BBC employees also seen the orbs ?

Saw this at 00.10 today - a single intense orange light travelling from S to N, not particularly fast, that lasted for two minutes then faded.

Yes - large, clear orange light that travelled for a short period above North Somerset on New Year's Eve at about 23.50
