I reckon for encyclopedic purposes we should try and list where every pie&mash shop is.
In Barkingside high road, Redbridge, there's Danny's.
Just near the Ilford Exchange Shopping Centre, Cooks' (proud that they supply West Ham FC. with pie&mash)
In Romford, just near Argos, after the market, there's one, don't know what it's called though.
Any help from others?

We have one in Grays, Essex, a Mecca for relocated Cockneys.

The pie and mash shop that I know in Ilford, is called Robin's, it's across the road from Sainsbury's supermarket and about a five minute walk from Ilford Station. They also have a very long established pie and mash shop in East Ham High Road, I think their's is the best pie and mash, but thats probably because it was my local one for years.
Another pie and mash shop has opened up near me, in Hornchurch, Essex, called Roys, I've tried it a few times, and got to say it's pretty good.
Tried one, I think it's near the Docklands Light Railway in All Saints, can't remember the name of it though, but it wasn't that good. The Roman Road shop is pretty good.
The best pie and mash shops are the ones that do not vary the menu too much, trying to appeal to everyone. Pie and mash, jellied eels, and stewed eeels, thats all they should sell. And I love the traditional decor too. Why try to improve on perfection?
