Thanks so much for writing it!

I just had a coworker (who is also a good friend) diagnosed with MS. She's 46, and started having problems with numbness in her fingers. Being in accounting, she just figured it was carpal tunnel syndrom, so she went to the doctor, several times... Finally they found lesions on her spinal cord, which led them to the MS diagnosis. She now gives herself a shot once a week at home of some new drug that they say helps slow the progression of the disease. Unfortunately, they don't think her left hand will ever get any better. Her fingers feel all prickly all the time, and her thumb is completely numb. However she can still use her hand.

Thanks again - your article has helped me understand what the disease is.

You are very welcome. I wrote it because I found it very difficult to find anything about MS on the 'net that was not in medical jargon, so I am glad that you appreciated it.
Thank You
