The Catacombs begin under the Pyramid, on His Divine Shadow's Island of Shadows, stretch several miles down from the surface of the island, under the sea, and into the deepest caves under Terrania.

The many levels of the Catacombs hold different things, the honored dead of His Divine Shadow's many armies and navies lay here in state. And in other levels there can be found the Divine Predessesors, the preserved brains of His Divine Shadow's former avatars. There are also vast vaults that hold some of the treasures of His Divine Shadow.
