Alternate Realities

I have often thought that the explanation for many of the mysteries in life could be found in the theory of alternate realities. I appears to me that there is a thin layer that encases our realty and seperates it from others. The layer is often pierced and people and objects from one can spill freely into another. This would explain the person that one spies walking down the street dressed in his "Saturday Night Fever" best. Not all realities move at the same speed and it is just possible that there are thousands of realties still stuck in the seventies. A horrible thought.

This theory could explain strange out of character actions by friends or family (is this really my sister?. It can explain much. In a recent episode of the television program "Felicity", Felicity travels back in time, mucks up her life and the lives of those around her and finally escapes back to her own true present. Or is it? A character that had died in Felicity's reality is now alive through her intervention in the past. Nothing else was effected by her time tripping. My theory of course is that she did not return to her own future but to an alternate reality. That is of course if one wants to use an important theory on disecting a third rate television program.

Well, that is all I have to say for now but perhaps I will return to this page or another in an alternate universe.
