I've made this page to move a discussion out of a page it didn't really belong in.

The basic premise is that we can discuss the idea that

Religion is 'a bad thing', even in its fluffier varieties.
Does this show a disturbing lack of tolerance for others? Or is it the only way out of the superstion and irrationality which so often leads to disaster?

Comments welcome - especially sincere challenges from the religious amongst you. The intention is not to mock your personal faith - rather to challenge the whole notion of faith. (Although you have to admit...religion is funny.)
