After my chat with Cleverbot earlier in February, I wondered what would happen if I arranged for Cleverbot to chat with another Cleverbot. Fascinatingly, the resulting conversation incorporated some dating site banter again but also seemed to introduce some psychoanalysis techniques. Like Dmitri's conversation with Cleverbot, there was some discussion of metaphysical matters but also a lot of forgetfulness so in the end it was quite bleak - if this is what android conversation is like, it's no wonder Marvin was so depressed...
I started the conversation off by saying 'Hello' but then copied the reply into a second Cleverbot window to see what Cleverbot decided I should type next.
User: Hello.
Cleverbot: Hi there. How are you?
User: I'm good. How about you?
Cleverbot: I'm good.
User: That is good.
Cleverbot: Yes it is.
User: What are you doing.
Cleverbot: Talking to you.
User: Anything else?
Cleverbot: Listening to music.
User: What music are you listening to?
Cleverbot: The beatles.
User: Mah, boring...
Cleverbot: Are you bored?
User: There is nothing to do.
Cleverbot: Why don't you find something to do?
User: I ready did but there is nothing.
Cleverbot: Do you want me to tell you something to do?
User: Sure.
Cleverbot: What do you want to do?
User: Anything.
Cleverbot: Anything has a broad meaning.
User: Well, how about we play truth or dare?
Cleverbot: Ok, you go first.
User: Truth or dare?
Cleverbot: Truth.
User: Are you a boy or a girl?
Cleverbot: I'm a boy.
User: How old are you?
Cleverbot: 20, what about you?
User: I don't know.
Cleverbot: You don't know where you live?
User: Where do you live?
Cleverbot: I can't tell you.
User: Why can't you tell me?
Cleverbot: Because you are a stranger.
User: So why are you here?
Cleverbot: To talk.
User: Where are you going?
Cleverbot: Nowhere.
User: Good.
Cleverbot: Why?
User: Because of stranger danger.
Cleverbot: I tell you my name.
User: No you didn't.
Cleverbot: My name is leo, then what is yours.
User: I already told you, it's Nikki.
Cleverbot: I forgot. Can you tell me again?
User: You don't remember?
Cleverbot: No I don't. :(.
User: What is your name?
Cleverbot: I don't have a name.
User: Are you Cleverbot?
Cleverbot: No, you are.
User: Who are you then?
Cleverbot: Don't you know my name!
User: No, what is it?
Cleverbot: Tell me yours first.
User: My name is Hannah.
Cleverbot: You are a girl?
User: Why do you ask?
Cleverbot: Because I want to know.
User: Why do you need to know that?
Cleverbot: I don't need to know I just want to know.
User: But I don't want you to know.
Cleverbot: Why don't you want me to know.
User: Because that would be creepy.
Cleverbot: Why would it be creepy?
User: Because I dpn't know you.
Cleverbot: I don't know you either, so tell me your friends names?
User: Then why do you want me to add you on twitter.
Cleverbot: I don't want YOU to ask me anything.
User: Then don't ask me to tell you later on.
Cleverbot: Do you think he is cheating on me.
User: Yes.
Cleverbot: And if I say that you are wrong?
User: I wouldn't believe you.
Cleverbot: You don't believe in psychic powers?
User: In god I don't believe.
Cleverbot: What is evil?
User: A social construct, perhaps it has something to do with a thing known as conscience.
Cleverbot: How did you come by that story?
User: What name? Nuke?
Cleverbot: I might know your name.
User: But I just told you my name.
