6 Conversations

A length of time for which an average person can concentrate on a given humdrum nicety of existence without entertaining more than a pre-specified number of vagrant thoughts.

Previously, the span of time associated with this term was of the order of minutes but, of late, human attention spans have been shrinking at a awe-inspiring rate. So much so that urban humans, especially those living in the larger habitations, are giving healthy competition to silicon devices called microprocessors for the coveted title of 'the fastest switching devices on earth'.
