Hall Of Illusions (Sponsored by Continuity Bleach)
The Hall of Illusions stands tall upon a hill where it always seems to be raining. In fact, things have a tendancy to look black and white here. The Hall is approached by a windy dirt road that circles the hill at least once before reaching the building itself. As you turn off the main highway, you pass through a large ornate gate that in its time must have been very impressive, but is now falling apart. The letters overhead read "Illusion Hall". Please check in with the butler at the front door. Ground Rules There is a story here. Recently there has been some confusion over what rules apply to story threads on this site. For this very reason, I present the House Rules for the Hall of Illusions:- NO weapons will be brought into the thread. All needed weapons will be supplied once the story begins by your host.
- NO fighting amongst the guests. This is a mystery, not a battle.
- All participants should keep in mind a very helpful guide entry on Continuity. This entry is being used as Law on this page.
- Please do not put words into other's mouths, or actions into their limbs, unless you have reached a prior agreement with that researcher. For instance, Minos Krymla can act and speak in Afgncaap5's name, for reasons many of you already understand
- I, Lord Reflection, am your host, narrator, etc. On occasion I may find it neccissary to change the way things are, for instance, the lights may go out, and when they come on, everyone may have moved. In fact, I may find it neccissary to pick one of you out and say that you, indeed, turned on the lights. I will do this sparingly, and only when neccissary for the story.
- On a related note, I may, at times, ask one of you to "Disappear". Don't take offense. This is a mystery game. When you "disappear" you can still make posts, but you must keep your character out of sight of the others. In addition, once you've "disappeared", I may "let you in" on the game, and allow you to act in my name.
- I may have to "disappear" myself. Don't worry, I'll always be watching.
