The Life And Times of a Game Musician
From music to programming.
I've got over 11 years experience working on some of the biggest game products, and yet still found it difficult to find work as a freelancer.
So now I have a job. In addition to doing music and sound effects, I'm a programmer these days as well. It's quite good. I'm learning new stuff all the time. I was stagnating just doing game music.
You can take a listen to some of my game stuff at my page on mp3.com.
Games is not all I do though. No sir, not by a long shot. I guarantee that you'll be hearing more from my band, From Within in the future.
Aside from that, try my One Day project. I also produce local artists demos and the like, build and fix computers, design web sites, watch films, eat, drink, see, move, apprehend, comprehend, invent, chastise, jump, collect, buy, theorise, build, sleep, dream, create, play, counteract, mutate, calibrate, cut, bring, .....
Thanks to film and my need to store information, I've re-logged in to h2g2. I'm amazed by the fact that I haven't been here for four years and all data is still intact. Excellent.
