Yeah, isn't it great! This is just the beginning - more states are beginning to refuse federal interference in the state's right to grant a marriage.

I got irritated with the California governor this weekend - Schwartzenegger was trying to equate a gay couple getting married with owning an assault rifle or trying to distribute drugs. I thought that he'd be more of a liberal Republican, considering who he's married to, but it looks like he's one of the more rabid conservativists.

today, when waiting for a bus, a man exited a bus i was not taking and offered me my favorite local news paper...The Seattle Times( i like to do the crossword in the times) as he walked off he stopped and gave me his bus transfer as well really kind of him, I thanked him a couple times(once for each gift)

I did quite well on the puzzle also, more than half the puzzle was done by the time I got to Bothell(sitting at the library comp)

Hey, I contributed just last week to a local thing where they sent flowers to newly married same-sex couples over the weekend. It's good to see that it means something, instead of being an empty gesture. Makes me want to pitch in for another bouquet!

The church I go to had a ceremony on Valentines day in which couples, including same sex couples, renewed their marriage vows. And we are in the middle of the Bible belt! It was a lovely ceremony. Thanks for the link about the flowers -- how nice that people are doing that!
