The Checklist

Okay, I have one more class today, and three more classes tomorrow. Here's my checklist of assignments that are due (with a few possible exceptions, they're all due tomorrow).
1) Spanish: Cultural Report-Just a one-page paper on a Spanish cultural activity that I attended. I went to a Dia de los Muertos celebration in October (it's NOT Halloween. Halloween is El Dia de las Brujas, or something....totally different). Just a one-page, double-spaced, Times New Roman font size 12 paper. You know, the kind of thing that I could hammer out in less than ten minutes in High School. Not a biggie.
2) Spanish: Lab Book-Okay, a little tougher, but not by much. I've got a lab manual filled with lab excercises (I can either attend the "lab" in the Language Hall, or I can listen to it on the Internet). This one isn't a problem, though, because I can double check my answers in the back of the book. As long as there's an obvious honest effort on my part, it's a guaranteed A. Just gotta remember to definitely mark wrong what I got wrong. One of the few grades where I'm expected to turn in faulty work, really.
3) Spanish: Work Book-Man, Spanish has a lot, no? Anyway, it's basically the lab assignment, but without a lab to attend. The only difference is that I don't have answers to check my answers with. So it's easier because I'm not expected to be able to check my work, but harder because I have to think to avoid the safety net's absence.
4) Research In "Mathematics": The Program-Supposedly I'm programming in Icon. I've given that up, though, without telling the teacher. He said, "Do whatever you're doing in your Java class to succeed." Well, in my Java class I'm using a coherent language (Java) as opposed to an incoherent one (Icon). So therefore, he's given me permission to program in Java. And in all of thirty minutes last night, I'd already passed where I was with the Icon program. I should try to have an almost working version of his project by tomorrow, but he'll probably accept these if I turn them in before finals week ends last week, so I've still got some theoretical time.
5) Calculus: The tough one. Gotta turn in the homework problems for a grade. Now, I will admit that I've got some easier sections to work out of than normal, but given my procrastinatorial history I've got this sneaky suspicion of a low grade coming my way....can't forget the quiz in his class tomorrow, either.
6) Programming in Java: The Election Program-Our week-long assignment this week was to spiffiffy(sic) a previous program that we'd created. Basically he just wants us to have fun looking at all of the existing visual Java applets that are free to the public that we can use. I'm think the fireworks generator would be nice, and possibly some pictures of Muppets, etc.
And here it is: the last sleepless night of homework for the first eighth of my college career.
And I've gotta say that it's been a great semester.
