Call me Ishmael. Or not. You *can* however call me Afgncaap5 (which is my official nickname on the internet) or you can call me other various things such as "Zorkman!" or "Wise Grand Mau" or "Hey, you!" You can also send me E-mail with my own name on it if you're one of the lucky few out there who have managed to guess/find out/have me tell you. Anyway, I enjoy old video games (such as Zork, or other Infocom text based games) some older programs, like the ones your parents played on a Commodore 64. I also enjoy reading, vegging on the tube, watching movies, sleeping at least seven hours out of the day, and annoying people. I have other various hobbies, but you'll probably find out about them.
Sometimes you may catch me using strange words, or using words that shouldn't be used how I'm using them. Here's a short list:
Nerd: A smart person who may very well be popular and may like computers.
Geek: A nerd who ins't popular despite being a nice person.
Jerk: A nerd who isn't smart, isn't popular, and isn't a nice person. This third trait is what causes the other two.
Zork: A series of video games originally made in the late seventies, but is still the best selling (and least publicitized) computer game of all time. You really should play it.
Xyzzy: An all purpose nonsense word.
Plugh: See XYZZY
Frob: when there are two unidentifiable objects, one is called a 'thing'. When trying to come up with a phrase for the second "thing", I recommend using "frob"
That's a short list that will be updated later. Maybe. Anyway, you may have noticed that another past time of mine is to annoy people. Here's how I do it:
Take at least two decks of cards (you can use partial decks as well, just make sure to have at least one full deck.) Shuffle the cards. Deal out seven to each person and say "We are now beggining the game of Seven Card Mau(?). The only rule I can tell you is that you can not say the word "Mau" until the game has ended. Ready? Go!"
Then you start playing. I'm sorry, I can't tell you any more rules.
