The NFL Europe Leage (NFLEL) of American Football. Scottish Claymores will do their best to go one better than last season when they were defeated by Rhein Fire in the dying moments of the World Bowl.
This year will be the first season under a new head coach, as it will for many of the six teams that compete in NFLEL. The team will also move their home games to just one arena this season. Hampden Park, Glasgow. Previous seasons, they have divided their games between Murrayfield and Hampden, and even before that, they played all their fixtures in Edinburgh at Murrayfield.
It will be an exciting season, as always, and I hope the Scottish Claymores will emerge victorious from the World Bowl which will be played on June 30th at the Amsterdam ArenA.
