My ex called me a little while ago. She apparently kicked my stepson, W, out last night. She didn't go into details or reasons, except for one: She was tired of her stepmom yelling at her about his room not being cleaned. What the hell is up with that?!? He's not even 13!

Where did he go? How can someone kick out a 12 year old? That's insane. And over a messy room? She clearly doesn't want the responsibility of being a parent.

He ended up going to his aunt and uncle's, was apparently taken there by his grandfather.

Same stepson, but it was that he had to stay a night with me after his grandfather said he couldn't stay there any longer. If I had the space and more importantly, the time to devote to him as well as my other kids, I would take him in. There are also any number of legal problems I would be faced with in trying to take him in. Really wish I could though, he would be better off with me.
