h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I just have too much of it. I have been working on group projects constantly since friday with only brief breaks for sleeping. Not even a chance to eat in some cases.

Having the computer system go down hours before a major presentation didn't ease my stress levels. "Lucky for me," I thought, "I printed off all the information I needed last night". So I head off down to reprographics to pick up my work. None there. So I think that maybe it might come through later. No luck. I am highly irritated by this stage. Then the system goes down. Three hours later, when I am halfway through rewriting my speech, badly, the network comes back up again and I print out another copy of the necessary work. Only to find that the work I'd sent through the previous night had alreay gone through. I flatly refused to pay for the second printout. This all left me with 20 minutes to practice a presentation upon which 20% of one module depended... Somehow that presentation actually went well though.

On a related note... Why isn't there ever anything open on a bank holiday? I've had no chance to cook anything in the last two weeks, let alone actually buy the food, and have been stuck with eating out in various eateries and existing on bought-in sandwiches from dodgy looking newsagents. My bank balance is coming out in an even worse state than my diet and far worse than my temper yesterday....
