You know I'm rather new to all this chatting and forum stuff. I've finally found a place where I can rant a little and rave a little and in English. Really miss the English language, having lived in Germany for 15 or so years.

So when someone says: all lardy, dardy (police, facist-like) that I have written 'rubbish' get a little p**sed off. If I want to be harassed - I can stay at work.

It is not fascistic to ask that you treat the community and it's expectations of you as a part of it with respect.
Hootoo has lost members because of the decline in standards with which people treat it's social hubs like Ask. The Forum was formed and supported by members in response to it, but that isn't an "official" part of the site. And thus is harder for new people to find. New members are directed to Ask above others, even Peer Review, what they see there or appearing in their conversations list reflects on the site.
It isn't fair of you to demand that Hootoo be only what you want it to be.
I don't have problem with nonsense threads on the site, I'm subscribed to Misc for the light stuff, but that is the hub on site for that.

Perhaps once you've calmed down you'll be ready to accept that as much as you mightn't care for the way it was done you were simply being ask to treat the community with a degree of respect.
