Why does noone seem to listen to this anymore? Or read? Think about it. Almost all of the music that reaches the top 10 these days will be forgotten in half a year. Classical music has withstood the centuries.
Besides, everyone knows they love the 'dance of the sugar plum fairy' and the 'blue danube', even if they don't know which song goes with those titles. 
You don't know either? I'll hum it for you.

Or something like it There are many great classical examples of immortal tunes such as the dance of the sugar-plum fairy, but I can imagine that this name doesn't ring a bell to a lot of people,

i have the same problem, nobody I know likes the beatles, or Edith Piaf with 'la vie en rose', or Mark Tijsmans, but I suppose you wouldn't know him, he's a Belgian singer and an actor. I think he's so funny, but not a lot of people agree with me, so far I've only met one girl who likes him as much as I do (and that's a LOT) and I've never even met her! I've only found her on the internet! But she's fantastic, as mad as I am and she adores mark Tijsmans as mmuch as I do, so we're both losing our minds!!! But that wasn't really about classical music, I got a bit carried away... (ahum, a 'bit')
What about ...er... I must confess!!! i don't know any more titles!!!
All I know about is the beatles, Mark Tijsmans and Robbie Williams, perhaps a few others, but so far for my knowledge of music! o dear, I'm a hopeless case, the only classical music i know is the dance of the sugar-plum fairy, o deary me
Please keep me informed, unless you wouldn't want to talk to a strange creature like me, I'm mad, hihihi, "I am a cheeky little mousy from Iceland"
By the way does anyone else watches never mind the buzzcocks or the Kumars or am I just about the only one on this entire planet?
