I walked 7 miles today, in an hour and a half. I am utterly knackered. I was getting my hair cut in a nearby town but I had forgotten to arrange transport back. And I had no money. So I walked for about 6 miles before I thought of hitchhiking 
And after that I walked a mile further. Urgh. But I lived.
