We'll begin the journal with a nice depressing entry... 
The current situation with my family is stable, but the only reason it is stable is because half of them won't talk to certain people within the family group (sorry, my word power is on a package holiday to the carribean, so you'll have to cope with such strange sentences). If communications went up again, it would be guns all blazing again and that wouldn't be good. As far as I know I'm the only family member who is still being talked to by everyone else (due to my ability to sit on the fence and stay neutral).
Well I guess I can't do much to convince anyone that so-and-so is really a nice guy because we're all family and we all know each others annoying mannerisms and bad behaviour. Catch 22 or what? 
Anyway, I think I'll stop here.
