MadHamish : Off in the real world! Posted Apr 1, 2003
I've seen the police many times as they beat me with phone books, desks, chairs, bunches of roses(hurts), the occassional piece of lawn furniture and even a Coke machine once!
Is it true that Sting can only sing in one key?

The police? Dunno, some people summon them when I've been doing my Serkiss/Gollum-impersonation for about half an hour... I dunno...

Ralph the Wonder Llama and André the dodo; Excrement Occurs Posted Apr 3, 2003
A lot of people in my class quote LOTR, so that wouldn't be out of the ordinary...

Yeah... Well, only problem is that I am the TEACHER in my class... And I think that some of the parrents have begun to worry...
Anyways, Gollums grammar leave something to be desired.

I've seen teachers do sillier things.

ah, the things that teachers will do for the sake of their students... 'tis a noble profession, to act out the part of andy serkiss' gollum for a class full of students...

In our class, it's usually the students that do the Gollum parts.

er, kimoto cat? be very *very* thankful you don't have someone like sir ralph in your class, compromising your sanity. (i'm jealous - if only the two towers came out a few years earlier, i might've urged my classmates to do the same to our teachers...)

Ralph the Wonder Llama and André the dodo; Excrement Occurs Posted Apr 7, 2003
Actually, it doesn't work, mainly because they are already stark staring raving mad.

Farlander Posted Apr 7, 2003
so drive 'em sane! there is nothing more frightening for a teacher in a classroom full of lunatics than to be sane... and not be able to escape the insanity by being insane.
Andy Serkis
Ralph the Wonder Llama and André the dodo; Excrement Occurs Posted Apr 7, 2003
How, exactly do you drive someone sane?
Andy Serkis
Farlander Posted Apr 7, 2003
er.... make them think they're insane. i assume you've watched catch-22?
Andy Serkis
Ralph the Wonder Llama and André the dodo; Excrement Occurs Posted Apr 7, 2003
No, I haven't. And the teachers know they're insane.
Andy Serkis
Farlander Posted Apr 7, 2003
but *if* they know/think they're insane, then it would stand to reason that they're *not* insane, but simply neurotic, in which case they would be perfectly sane. it's catch-22, see?

Their behaviour indicates that they are in fact totally insane.
