i am an american
i have laughed cried and fell asleep over american politics
this thread of COURSE has a serious base
because politics is serious
because politics affect the very life breath of peoples
but
i want to take a somewhat whimsical tone herein
as is evident by the subject line

okay
this is not totally political but...
viagra
has an ad
where this guy is driving down the road route 66 style black and white film
and his engine overheats
so he stops at a gas station
route 66 style
goes in and gets a liter water out of the cooler
and pours it in his radiator
is it just me?
or is it not good to pour a freezing cold water into an overheated radiator?
and are there metaphors here concerning what viagra is for?

and what is totally amazing
is that this ad is obviously a high end ad
costing tons to make
and airing during prime time
costing tons to air
and yet
the utter stupidity
anyone stupid enuf to not know you dont put ice cold water in an overheated radiator
deserves yea even should be required to not reproduce his genes
