I HAVE A GIANT SPIDER ON MY SHOWER CURTAIN !

...and i need to take a shower to wake up enuf to deal with it...
i don't want to kill her. she is a cane spider or a close relative... very fast...
and i have dealt with cane spiders before... coaxed them along walls to the door and outside (they're too big to jar them... might hurt their ickle legs) ...but this one is NOT on a wall but on a floppy shower curtain !!
she's at least 3 inches maybe 4....
and i watched her last nite, whilst i was on the throne, walk along the walls and across the mirror and she walks creepier than any spider i have ever watched !!
heeeeeeee-e-e-e-lppppppppppah

k....
i did it... i showed her the way out of the bathroom (it's attached outside my ohana) with a 5 ft piece of bamboo.... after a few false starts and much misdirection (once directly TOWARDS ME !! ) and with lots of verbal and bamboo stick encouragement from me after i recovered from that, she went out onto the liana then dropped thru a crack to the underside my place is on stilts)
...only thing is now...
is that a good thing or a bad thing?
i mean... ...she could come up ANYwhere now!!
...... . . . .......
okay okay okay its okay the reason i wanted her out of my bathroom was because, unlike the other 2 who have been in there for a while afore they moved on... she was ranging around the room too much and its scary at 2 AM to stumble into a small room with a large spider in it !----> THAT RUNS <--- ! when you don't know WHERE IT IS !!

I have a special device for dealing with spiders...it's called Shona . It chases them down, pounds them repeatedly or headbutts them until they stop moving and then eats them.

If Shona will eat spider and will lick up a bluebottle which she's burst all over the window then she'd probably eat cockroaches too. However my preferred cockroach killer would be some form of mustelidae, probably a weasel or ferret.

There's a type of gecko that lives in the UK, not sure about it's eating habits though. Anyway ferrets and weasels are very friendly and sociable creatures.

okay... and doubtless their "leavings" are no worse than the ones left by geckos on the bed covers...

Also ferrets and weasels like to eat mice, rats, shrews, voles, small birds* and rabbits
*that is anything up to about buzzard/falcon size, like a duck or chicken.

Yeah, but cats is nasty, they're like little furry humans that walk on all fours and vomit in your bed.

ohhh poor you... mine never do that...
cats need respect... maybe they won't do that to you if they sense your admiration?

Nah the last cat we had used to sneak into my room as my bedroom window had the best view of our street. However one day she was unwell and she vomited on my bed so much and her little body was so wracked with convulsions as she retched that she also ended up piddling all over my bed. She only ever did it once though.
However I had a friend who's cat thought that when it was ill that the place it was supposed to go, while it's body purged it's self, was actually in his bed, that is under the bedclothes. It used to do that quite a bit as it was rather indiscriminate as to what it ate.

Nah, but I'm not a big fan of cats, or humans as a species, as they're arrogant, self important egocentric, rude, excessively violent and take pleasure in killing.
