Anybody old enough to remember this? My PS Preferences have always leant towards Brunel. Nowadays it always defaults to that horrible blue **** where my conversations are in the bottom half of the screen and I have to up-date every time I log in. It is driving me crazy with frustration. Are you there Icy???? Or of course anybody else who can solve this infuriating issue.

why don't you stay logged in?
I love Goo, just goes to show, good job we've not all got the same tastes.

Thanks GB! I don't do that because I've suffered from power cuts and lightening strikes before; and it's a nightmare transferring everything back from the external hard drive. I always turn the whole kaboosh off after each session.

Icy is unable to login, but here's his reply to my email:
Hi Scorp,
The blue **** goes by the official name of "Pliny", and it's been the default design for h2g2 for a few years now. It's still being developed, and there are some things we still need to do on the old skins like Brunel - mostly on the entry-writing and publishing side.
If you type the address h2g2.com into your browser, then you'll get into the h2g2 site with the Pliny skin.
All is not lost, though.
I get around this by saving other addresses which access the old skins as bookmarks or favourites in my browser.
This one, for example displays your home page under the Brunel skin:
http://www.h2g2.com/dna/h2g2/brunel/U810554
I suggest you click this then save it as a bookmark or favourite.
Here's an alternative link which displays all your recent conversations:
http://www.h2g2.com/dna/h2g2/brunel/MP810554
Again, click it, then save it as a bookmark or favourite.
If you have difficulty saving these as bookmarks or favourites, then let me know and I'll try to help. I'd need to know what Internet Browser you use, though: is it Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, or something else?
