Edward the Bonobo - Gone.

In my current viral haze (headache, aching limbs, D&V), I-n'-I completely forgot to mention that yesterday was the anniversary of the coronation of Ras Tafar-I, Haile-I Selassie-I, Mighty Lion of Judah.

Apparently his grandson lives in a council flat on the Isle of Dogs.

Bom-biddly-bong!

Gnomon - time to move on

Haile Selassie II, Emperor of Ethiopia. His pre-accession name was 'Ras (Prince) Tafari' - hence Rastafarianism.

Incidentally, his 'given' name was Makonon, and I wonder if this was the inspiration for calypso prophet 'Bokonon' in Kurt Vonnegut's 'Cat's Cradle'
