h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I get sounds of the woofer (big bass one) and one tweeter (small one that occasionally falls of my desk). I was wondering why they sounded a bit quieter. The only thing is Argos's selection of speakers is naff so I'm going to have to go round the tech shops tomorrow and spend money. So much for saving up!

We bought the very first Bose Accoustimas speakers, in about... hmmmm 1990? 1991? and everyone laughed their socks off because they were soooo tiny.

But not tinny.

And here we are, around 20 years later, using the same ones.

Wish my speakers lasted 20 years, to be fair though they've not done badly. It's annoying as the left speaker works but I miss all of the sounds from the right speaker, so everything sounds .

I would plug my headphones in but I'm not quite sure where I put them.

you should put everything away tidily every time you use them

Got a new pair of headphone instead of speakers, I can use headphones at home and at school so they'll be more use than my speakers and my mum will no longer tell me to turn my speakers down!

The bass on the headphone sis very good and they're also cancel out a lot of external noise which is good.

no giving yourself tinitus this time though, eh?

Shame I didn't see this earlier - work has been dumping a load of stuff due to office refurb and there's been a couple of sets of stereo speakers thrown out. If I spot anymore I'll snaffle them for you MP when no one is looking!

Anything else that looks interesting is good as well. I'm hugely bored at the minute.
