How thoughtful, an engraved 
bearing "Thursdayitebane"(obviously the name of the weapon) on the front, and "Plebis-Thingite Arch Recruiting Sergeant" on the reverse.
This will be quite useful when miraculous comes back, then again, so would the brick.
