Aah, this country is no longer cold...Nor is it warm, unfortunately!
The little bit of snow we had has melted, there are puddles on the roads and the temperatures are above 0 C...smiley - wah!

We had a tidy measure of snow last week, about 30 cm for the metric folks. But the next few days may melt it away with fog, mild temperatures, and even rains. But a white Christmas is as much in the heart as it is in the gardens, isn't it? smiley - hug

Our Christmas will be a quiet event of two people. Though there is always the option of 2, 3 or more joining us. It happens nearly every year, we have food for a tribe, and love to welcome the folks in ... friends, neighbors or even strangers. Each year is a novelty.

Milady will attend a service, though to her dismay I won't. I have too many questions and doubts to be comfortable at one. And will always fight to the last breath for anyone to have the right to attend! Just my odd and ambiguous way.

The sarong sounds like a lovely idea, and if I thought the posties could get a package there before 2010, I could send some really light-weight and efficient thermals for under it. How-ever, in that direction, I think you are on your own ... to look out of the bathroom window before choosing attire for the day. smiley - doh

Merriest and best of all Christmas's to you, Lady H. And hoping that your whole extended family have a happy, healthy and safe holiday time. smiley - hug

Maybe 2009 will bring better news. Change is in the air.
