No, we haven't sold the darn house yet smiley - grr

And yep, the sitting in car/bus then bus/car on the way back (can't park car anywhere near work so have to transfer to a - not free - shuttle bus) is doing wonders for the bad back...not.

Sorry to moan - but it's my journal, at least that's what I remember it being, through the mists of time smiley - winkeye

Hi both smiley - biggrin

I'm not really here

I sympathise! I used to have a four hour commute to work. I managed for a year, then was very glad when other reasons meant I couldn't do it any longer.

I didn't find the journey too bad itself, but losing all that time to be able to do other things was a nightmare.

Sho, believe me I am only just hanging onto the threads of understanding the mortgage talk!

Looking forward to today, I really hope one of these houses hits the spot, we want to get over there asap; as I've said before 4 hours commuting a day is a tad rubbish.

Thanks everyone for your support. It's nice to be back in the community smiley - hug

I'm not really here

Good luck with your perfect home search!

I found mortgages easy to understand. As I was preparing to buy my house I read this - A695360. That decided me to stick to fixed rate mortgages and I'm very glad of that now that interest rates are rising!

I've only got a year left at my low rate, which is a shame. smiley - sadface
