Miracles do happen !

Late last night -- in fact, well after my bedtime 
-- The Olsen Brothers, aged 46 and 50, charmed the <> out of all of Europe and won the European Song Contest, having lead from the first score given to the last.
Isn't that wonderful? Here comes two guys, untouched by all the hype, sing a song written as a declaration of love the the songwriter's wife, not designed to win anything -- and yet they do. First in Denmark, collating maximum scores all over the place -- and then in Europe.
Though not being a Eurovison Song Contest follower, I love it -- and I think there's a lesson to be learned: Be yourself, do what feels right (and not what the media moguls believe to be right) and do it with all your conviction.
And see how far it can take you!
