Hello Venus ,
Thank you for following my thread . Gardens at this time of year take some care and attention. I do a little each day when I feel up to it, and just potter around when I don't.
This is the best time of year to watch plants grow and flourish . However, my shrubs are in need of a clipping or two! I have managed to sort the top border out in my garden, but keep putting the very bottom bed off as it needs quite a bit of sorting .
How is the arthritis? Mine is very painful some days, and bending down is very awkward .
Take it steady.

Hi Nigel
The arthritis is still a pain It has improved a little with the steroid injections, but not as much as i would like
Everything seems to have grown at once in my garden. I got behind with the weeding as i was'nt able to do it, so i had a blitz yesterday and things are looking alot like they should. I did'nt spend long in the garden today, my Dracunculus opened it's flower lastnight, so there is a bit of a nasty whiff out there today It will be dead by morning, which is a bit of a shame. I did get some really good photos of it though.

I am glad you managed to get some good pictures . I would love to see them .
The steroids helped me a little with the spinal pain, but I am still taking painkillers every day, altering the dose to help. I had the steroids about two years ago through a intravenous drip. This type are supposed to remain in my body for three years, not sure what will happen after that .
