I wouldn't say it makes everything better..but 2 or 3 pods are sometimes nice in a curry...and you can buy brilliant sweets flavoured with it from some Indians.

I love Indian food but I just can't stand the taste of cardamom. It's a nuisance when restaurants put it in a meal without warning.
