I've just had a thought. You do realise that it will only be a matter of time before some bright spark at one of her future schools twigs her initials and she picks up the nickname 'Evil'.
Sorry about that. I'm kind of sensitive to folks initials as mine used to be 'ME'. I can't count the number of times at school when the teacher would be handing out people's work and they'd say, "Alright. Which bright spark put 'me' on their work? It's not big and it's not clever."
And I would have to put my hand up and say that that was me. And everyone would laugh.

Well, since she's unlikely to be going to school (we're home-educating) that's not too much of a worry, but I hadb't noticed that. Charlotte is CAML.
I did notice that, if we call isobel Belle (which we sometimes do) the children are ACBDE.
I do like EViL though. I'll tell Bernadette.
By the way, they're both home now. No problems with anything, and today, Emily has been sleeping or feeding happily. She's hardly cried at all, which makes up for yesterday when she seemed to cry all the time. If we can only stop the others waking her up so they can hold her all the time, I think we'll be fine.

They are fine. Harry is nearly 17 months and is walking and talking. We started baby signing at around 6 months and it is really starting to pay off now. He can do about 30 signs including most animals and the important stuff like "change nappy". I have to say that having a child is the best and most rewarding thing I have ever done, but I must be preaching to the converted as you're a father of 5.

One little advice: read the existing conversation (and the Entry it belongs to) prior to posting to the conversation. I doubt the oxford dictionary has anything to do with you beeing new. And you are not the new family member of 'Jim Lynn' , I bet she is bright but doubt she can write let along type

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
